Tama, The stationmaster cat

A cat can bring in revenue to 1.1 billion yen, or about USD 99.18 billion per year for a small town in Japan. Tortoiseshell Tama is a cat who was born and live in Kishi train station without the station chief in Kinokawa, Kishigawa Province, western Japan.
Therefore, Tama became head of the station complete with uniform Wakayama railroad. This cat appeared on the station as the train passed by, walking like a railroad station chief. Tama action is to invite thousands of tourists come there.
According to Katsuhiro Miyamoto, a professor at Kansai University School of Accountancy, which examines the impact of the presence of Tama double as station chief, said there is a fund of 1.1 billion yen in the year 2007, which flows into Kinokawa.
